William (B.T.) Gilligan

​Senior Pastor

Pastor B.T. has been serving at Nixon UMC since July 2017 and has been loving every minute of it! He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a degree in Criminology and Religious Studies. He earned his Masters of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2011. He is currently a student at Dakota Weslyan University earning a Master's in Business Administration.

Pastor B.T. lives in Penn Township with his wife Lisa, and four children Samuel, Olivia, Elliott, and Gabriel. In his spare time Pastor B.T. enjoys skiing, craft beer, running, and playing Magic: The Gathering.

Jennifer McCall 
Lead Preschool Teacher

Jenn joined the staff in 2007 and has served in all capacities of the preschool. She is currently the lead teacher and teaches at all levels of the preschool. Find out more about our preschool here.

Trey Hixon

​​Worship Director

Trey Hixon is a life time resident of Renfrew where he grew up on a small farm. Fifteen years ago, his education began at Nixon UMC's preschool!

Trey attended Seneca Valley high school where he excelled in all things music, including choir, show choir, band and marching band. He is currently a Sophomore at Slippery Rock University where is he studying Music Education.

​Trey is a three time All State singer. He also plays trumpet and piano. He loves Jesus, people, and playing in his community. He is excited for the opportunity to serve at Nixon UMC!
